Garden Maintenance & Care

Flourish Kitchen Gardens offers Garden Care & Maintenance to all properties in Greater Melbourne. We can travel outside of this region for an additional fee, and can cater for aged-care and NDIS clients.

Services include Lawns, Edging, Hedging, Weeding, Pruning, Shaping/Trimming, Fertilising, Soil Amelioration, Planting, Mulching, Pest & Disease Management and more. We will not use Glyphosate products, preferring to manage plant health from a holistic approach, ensuring optimum soil health, healthy waterways and insect life. If power tools are needed we choose Stihl battery-operated tools for a low-impact on the surrounding environment. We take every care with your property, pay attention to detail and work with the existing ecosysytem, - encouraging biodiversity, wildlife habitat and a thriving garden.

We also offer personalised garden coaching sessions. Garden coaching is a unique service that teaches you how to take care of your plants and soil, check for pests and diseases and manage these through organic gardening methods. You will learn how to best maintain and enjoy your garden, and all about companion planting, beneficial insects, what soil needs to produce leaves, flowers and fruit, how and when to prune and much more! It’s kind of like having your own personal trainer for your unique garden space.

Garden Coaching is offered as single session or packages. If you choose to book a package this will involve 5 one hour sessions and will cover Soil, Composting, Pests & Diseases, Pruning/Training and Harvesting. These can be utilised for edible gardens, or throughout your different property zones/areas.

Other services offered include seasonal re-planting & plant procurement, compost system installation, and basic irrigation set-up.
